“Resurrection: Getting out of the Grave with Promise and Power”
Saturday Evening services at St. James, Woodstock
St. James, Woodstock, will host special worship services each Saturday during the Easter season, from April 14 until May 26, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., all addressing the theme of “Resurrection: Getting out of the Grave with Promise and Power.” The services will be in the large room behind the church.
Sponsored by Bog Chapel, Inc., these hour-long worship services are for anyone stuck where they do not need to be. They are for people who need to believe some promises and take in some powers to get out of any kind of trouble they are in or any kind of trouble they cause.
There will be live music, prayer and praise; there will be teaching about the promises and powers; there will be witnessing, and there will be a time for laying on of hands and healing. You can sing or pray or talk along, or you can just be quiet, knowing you are safe and sound.
In addition to the Saturday evening worship services, there will be daily prayer, Monday–Friday, at 7:30 a.m., noon, and 5:30 p.m.
