During the May 31st Diocesan Council meeting at St. John’s Randolph, a document outlining the year-long discernment and visioning process for “Becoming More Missional” was approved. That document, titled “Becoming More Missional: The Episcopal Church in Vermont – An Invitation to be part of a Year-Long Journey of Visioning, Discernment and Planning for Tomorrow” can be found here.
As part of that approval process, Council members were able to meet with Delbert C. Glover (Del), who will work with us throughout this year-long journey. Del is a retired DuPont executive who has served many roles in the Episcopal Church. Del told Council members a bit about himself, his background, and his long-standing involvement with and love for the Episcopal Church. He answered questions and discussed how he sees the process unfolding. Council members were most thankful to Del for his time. It was incredibly helpful to have Del there and put a face to a name.
