Preacher for Eucharist Update: Bishop Ian Douglas, scheduled to be our preacher at the Convention Eucharist on Saturday, asked for our understanding and consideration in order for him to attend a Celebration of the life of Bishop Thomas Shaw that day in Boston. Bishop Shaw, recently retired Bishop of Massachusetts, died on October 17th. Bishop Douglas will be with us all day Friday and Friday evening, as workshop leader, keynote and banquet speaker. We are deeply grateful to have Sharon Ely Pearson (one of our Friday workshop leaders and a formation specialist in The Episcopal Church) and Christine Moseley from St. Mark’s Church, Newport (preacher at our Ministry Fairs and a Candidate for Holy Orders) share the preaching for our Convention Eucharist on November 1.
