Dear People of The Episcopal Church in Vermont
Below is a link to a letter from me sharing a key decision I have made as part of the Becoming More Missional consultation process. In this letter you will read of my decision to eliminate two positions on the diocesan Ministry Support Team – the Canon for Ministry Development and the Canon for Stewardship and Development. This was not an easy decision, but I believe it is the right decision given all the variables at work and in light of the Becoming More Missional consultation process in which we have been engaged this past year. Susan Ohlidal and Angie Emerson have been trusted colleagues for many years and have contributed greatly to the common life of the Episcopal Church in Vermont. I am most grateful for their ministries, their wisdom, their counsel and their friendship. I know you join me in thanking them for their faithful ministries among us.
