Zion, Manchester is taking the conversation outside church walls. Beginning Tuesday, July 7, the parish is hosting weekly Tuesday night “Galatians and Guacamole” conversations. Promoted by word of mouth and the parish Facebook Group, the six-week program is being held at nearby restaurant Gringo Jack’s and led by the Rev. John Mitchell. Using the Serendipity Bible as a guide, each week the group reads a chapter of Galatians and answers accompanying questions such as “How do you feel when your belief are contrary to popular opinion?” Taking place over generous servings of guacamole and among other diners in this busy spot in the community, the group is open to all, — so feel free to join! Tuesdays (7/21, 7/28, 8/4 and 8/11) at 6pm at Gringo Jack’s in Manchester. Contact Zion Church with any questions.
