During the second year of the Rock Point Intentional Community, we continue to explore how Rock Point might be ‘A More Prayerful Place’ throughout the year on a regular basis. To that end, there are monthly services, either at noon on the second Friday of each month in the chapel or in conjunction with another group or activity, such as retreats and summer camps.
These services are open to all who come to this place as well as a way to build and strengthen our community. They are a complement to, not a substitute for, the Sunday Eucharists of our home parishes.
We have been developing a variety of forms for our monthly Eucharists, beginning (but not ending) with Episcopal and other Anglican sources. To reflect the mission of the Rock Point Intentional Community, we look for a contemporary emphasis on care of creation and inclusiveness.
The Chapel of St. Michael & All Angels is located in the Kerr Building of the Bishop Booth Conference Center. It and the outdoor chapel are within the oversight of Bishop Ely.
