Sunday afternoons from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Tai chi is one of the oldest exercise methods in the world and is practiced around the world today by people of all ages for its health and relaxation benefits. Slow, gentle, and relaxed movements are combined with focused, deep breathing. With practice, it can become an enjoyable practice for a lifetime. Classes are on-going. Drop-ins welcome. For more information, see flyer, or contact Elizabeth Wirls, certified instructor of Tai Chi for Health and Balance.
You may also learn more during the April 30th celebration at Rock Point, where we’ll be celebrating World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. Each year, all over the earth, people gather on the last Saturday in April at 10:00 a.m. to do tai chi together. This year area players are gathering at Rock Point, near the community gardens next to the school. It doesn’t matter if you’re a newcomer or already experienced. The event is free and open to all. See FLIER for more information.
