The Partnership Campaign for Rock Point: Building Our Future Together is on its way, raising the first $200,000 to enhance Rock Point’s facilities, implement the Land Use Plan, improve access and the trail system, and purchase the solar orchard. The campaign, including the volunteer campaign committee, is actively identifying and meeting with those who recognize the importance of keeping this special place part of the legacy of the Episcopal Church of Vermont and want to support it. We also continue to introduce people to Rock Point and its spiritual, educational, and recreational mission.
The partner organizations that help carry out this mission and friends of Rock Point are also key partners in the campaign, informing their participants and colleagues about the needs that new funding will address and the opportunities that will be realized. With the prospect of development on the former Burlington College property, it is more important than ever that Rock Point be sustained as a place where the Church meets the community.
