Kids4Peace: Interfaith Peace Camp, June 28-July 9, 2017
By Jeff Mandell | Kids4Peace Northern New England Regional Director
Kids4Peace is excited to invite you to take part in our Interfaith Camp this summer! During a time of increased violence and political unrest around the world, Kids4Peace strives to empower youth to take a stand and learn to navigate the world in a way that makes real and lasting change locally, nationally, and internationally. In joining us this summer, campers will have the opportunity to learn about Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; have a chance to visit Houses of Worship from all three faith traditions; and learn skills that help them to be life-long peacebuilders. In exploring these topics, we both learn about and experience what it means to make faith-based social change around the world! The program also includes this year the creation and production of an original musical theater production to be performed by students at the camp!
When: June 28 – July 9, 2017
Who: Current 6th & 7th grade youth (in the 2016-2017 school year)
