Register ASAP: Free Workshop for Vermont Episcopal Communicators July 22, 27, & 29
Are newsletters really worth the effort? Which is better, Facebook or Twitter? How can a church get most from its communications? Diocesan Communications Minister Maurice Harris will answer these questions and more at a half-day workshop designed for local communicators of the Episcopal Church in Vermont. All individuals responsible for church websites, social media, newsletters, video, audio, and photography are encouraged to participate in this free event. Please choose the date that works best with your schedule and location:
Church Communicators’ Workshop
Saturday, July 22, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM

Thursday, July 27, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM
Zion Episcopal Church, Manchester Center, Vt.
Saturday, July 29, from 9 AM to 1 PM

A key function of the diocesan communications role is to serve as a coach, trainer and advocate for parish volunteers and staff responsible for communications, Harris explained. “During my visits with parishes across the diocese, some common issues have emerged, as well as some novel solutions, and I’m looking forward to sharing these findings in a setting where we can all hear from each other.”
