Dr. Woo was featured in the May/June 2013 issue of Foreign Policy as one of the 500 Most Powerful People on the Planet and one of only 33 in the category of “a force for good.”

Catholic Relief Services is an international humanitarian aid agency that reaches more than 100 million people in over 100 countries on five continents, providing assistance with emergency response and recovery, agricultural livelihood, health and other humanitarian and development issues on a need basis, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.

Sessions on ecological justice, economics, science, public policy, organizing and advocacy, food and farming, spirituality, and religion.
