Celtic Solstice Contemplative Service (and Potluck) Wednesday, December 13 @ 6:00 PM
As the days grow shorter, the nights longer, and we await the coming of Christ to our hearts at the Incarnation, we invite you to pause for a few moments of beauty and silence. Please join us for a service offered jointly by St. James Episcopal Church and Trinity Church, Shelburne at Trinity on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 PM. We will begin with a simple potluck dinner and conversation followed by a contemplative service in the intimate Webb Lounge. It will be the first such service using a beautiful piano donated for such purposes by St. James members, Nancy and Charlie Roff who recently moved to New York. The service of Holy Communion will feature calming music, seasonal lessons, communion, and no sermon for a contemplative experience. We hope you will join us for what will be an oasis of peace during this busy season.
Trinity Church is located at 5171 Shelburne Rd., Shelburne. There is plenty of parking behind the church. We hope to see you there.
