St. James to Host New Year’s Eve Presentation on Ireland Pilgrimage & Celtic Spirituality
Event takes place Dec. 31 at 11:15 AM!
ESSEX JUNCTION, VERMONT – St. James, located at 4 St. James Place, Essex Junction, invites you to ring in the New Year in Celtic style on Sunday, December 31 at 11:15 a.m. with a presentation given by parishioners of St. James, Trinity Church, Shelburne, Holy Trinity, Swanton, and others who journeyed together this past fall on a Celtic Ireland Pilgrimage. The presentation will offer insights into Celtic spirituality and how and why the Rev. Kim Hardy (St. James) and husband the Rev. Dr. Fred Moser (Trinity) began this pilgrimage ministry in 2014. Last fall’s pilgrimage was the third they have led and they are planning one for 2018. You will also hear personal reflections and discoveries from pilgrims who went on this remarkable journey that included areas of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It will also include some beautiful photographs.
There will be a celebratory New Year’s coffee hour to enjoy. Of course, if you wish you may join St. James for worship at 10:00 AM, or come after worship in your own faith communities. We hope you can be with us to share in the remarkable experiences had on this journey. Simply bring yourself and a friend if you wish. All are welcome!
