Rock Point Trail Stewards have been collecting a lot of litter lately – lots of cans and bottles – as the beautiful summer nights bring out folks who don’t all remember to “carry out.” Help preserve our trails.
St. Mary’s in the Mountain’s Interim Rector Nicholas Porter (second from right) with Dr. Karan Emerick, Dr. Laura Roche, Fr. Joe Pace and Kathryn Cox in West Hartford, Connecticut. Fr. Nicholas was the keynote speaker at an event to support St. John’s Eye Hospital Group in Jerusalem and Gaza. The event successfully raised $15,000 for the purchase of a new slit-lamp for the hospital in Gaza.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Windsor, had a yard sale on Memorial Day weekend to raise funds for our Mission Project, to assist Dr. Caloras with his outreach in Cambodia where he and a team of volunteers have been working in healthcare clinics. Dr. Caloras will be here to share what he has done with the funds on July 22 after church around 11:15 AM. All are welcome.
