When Two or Three Are Gathered…

When Two or Three Are Gathered…

A prayer by Jane Lee Wolfe

Holy God,

Thank you for being with us every second of our lives.

Thank you for bringing us together.

Thank you for holding us humbly in your hands.

Thank you for being love among us.

Thank you for peace and joy and love.

May our relationship with you overwhelm each personal desire, prejudice, opinion and preference.

May your will be done even when we do not know it.

Lead us from behind, like walking children holding on.

Take a rest and we will join you.

Let us play in your presence and enjoy your compassion.

Let us live only for you.

Let our bodies and our minds be comforted in you.

Let our hearts and souls rejoice.

Let our destiny be yours, our offerings also.

You only are our God, you only are our love, you only are our peace, you only are our joy.

We love you, we worship you, we praise you, we adore you.

Now and forever,

Amen.
