From the BDNC: Bishop Candidates Considered Only After the Profile is Posted
We have begun to get inquiries about nominations for our next bishop. It is heartening to know that people are watching, praying, and talking about the transition underway in the Episcopal Church in Vermont!
To clarify the process:
Over the next two months, the BDNC will be distilling all the information we have heard in the listening sessions and crafting our profile. When the profile is posted in the fall, there will be information on how interested candidates can proceed with the application process. At that time, and not before, the BDNC will consider candidates. Meanwhile, keep your eye on the Bishop Transition page on the diocesan website for updates, and keep your prayers flowing as mutual discernment unfolds. We are grateful for your interest!
