Rally for Racial Equity in Montpelier This Saturday, September 15
Tim Wise, internationally known anti-racist writer and educator, will be joined on Sept. 15 by Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman, Attorney General TJ Donovan, Rep. Kiah Morris and others for a rally for racial equity in Vermont’s public schools.
The Montpelier rally, slated to begin at noon, will be preceded by a workshop on restorative practices at the Pavilion Building adjacent to the State House. Vermont is no different than anywhere else when it comes to systemic racism, and the rally will remind everyone of the need for equity in our schools and communities.
