Wednesday, October 10, 2018
From 6:30 to 8:30 PM
Zion Episcopal Church
5167 Main Street
Manchester Center, VT
The Rev. Thompson’s newly-ordained wife, Myra, was leading Bible study when she and eight other congregants were struck and killed by the assassin’s bullets. Ms. Sheppard was one of only three survivors whose life was spared when the assailant ran out of ammunition. She ultimately had to watch her son and friends take their last breath. Come hear their stories, and learn how their lives have taken on new purpose as a result of choosing forgiveness.
Our gratitude to Jim Lane, Zion parishioner and founder of the New Canaan Society, for sponsoring this this event.
