Joint Urban Ministry Project Celebrates 30th Anniversary, Names Bishop Ely as First-ever Social Justice Award Recipient

On December 1, the Joint Urban Ministry Project (JUMP) celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Burlington Elks Lodge, during which JUMP honored the Rt. Rev. Thomas C. with its first-ever Social Justice Award. Courtesy of the Rev. Stannard Barker, a video and photos from the event can be found here. Among the attendees were Ann Ely, congregants from the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, a founding organization of JUMP, and Archdeacon Catherine Cooke, a founding member. JUMP ensures that economically disadvantaged neighbors have improved access to meet their basic needs and fuel assistance to get where they need to be.
