Consider Making a Donation to Help Cover Bishop Election Costs
You are invited to help fund the budget for this Episcopal search.
The Standing Committee created a modest budget for our discernment process to elect the 11th Bishop of Vermont. Included in that budget were donations from congregations (download the budget using the link below).
We now invite congregations to include some amount in their 2019 budgets (or use funds from 2018) to help us pay for this process. You will see that the diocesan budget (accumulated over the last 17 years) and the Hunt Fund have provided the bulk of the funds.
Now we ask congregations to consider a minimum donation of $150 for this effort. However, if you are able to do more, that would be wonderful. If $150 is too much, send what you can. Any excess funds will be used for a gift for the new Bishop. Please make your donations by February 1, 2019.
