Wisdom Practice Circles, Jan. 28 & Feb. 7

The next two Rock Point Wisdom Practice Circles will be held on Monday, January 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and Thursday, February 7, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Kerr Building at Bishop Booth Conference Center, 20 Rock Point Road, Burlington, VT. Anyone and everyone is welcome, with or without experience! Wisdom Practice Circles are typically held on the first Thursday and fourth Monday of each month. RPIC Monthly Eucharist, Feb. 7

Join us for the next Rock Point Intentional Community (RPIC) Eucharist on Thursday, February 7 at noon in the Chapel of St. Michael & All Angels at Bishop Booth Conference Center, 20 Rock Point Road, Burlington, VT. The Rev. Rob Spainhour, rector of Holy Trinity, Swanton, will be presiding. A brief RPIC meeting will take place immediately following Eucharist. Wisdom School ‘Day of Prayer, Practice, Teaching,’ Feb. 9 (CORRECTION)

The Rock Point Wisdom School will hold a day of prayer, practice and teaching, for the body, heart and head, to deepen participants’ Wisdom experience on February 9 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Rock Point ‘Singing by Heart,’ March 30

Experience the joy of singing and the beauty of Rock Point with Patsy Fortney, an experienced song leader with a deep belief in the power of singing to unite people and enliven their spirits. This inspirational event will take place on March 30 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Participants will learn songs by singing them (that is, “by heart”). No need to read music. All voices are welcome. Fortney will offer simple, spirit-filled songs from a variety of traditions, along with stories of their origins and thoughts about how they may speak to us today. Registration is $40 per person and includes a light lunch. Limited to 30 participants. Please contact to express interest.

Wisdom School Teaching & Practice Weekend, April 4-7

The Rock Point Wisdom School is offering a Teaching & Practice Weekend from April 4-7 (Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning) at Bishop Booth Conference Center, 20 Rock Point Road, Burlington, VT. This event is for those who wish to deepen their understanding of Wisdom and the spiritual practices it offers. It is not intended as an introduction, but a nurturing of the Vermont Wisdom Community in the lineage of Cynthia Bourgeault. While Rock Point Wisdom activities are typically open to all, advertising for the Teaching & Practice Weekend has been limited to the Diocese of Vermont due to its focus on the local Wisdom Community.
