Funds for Racial Reconciliation & Healing Are Available to ALL Episcopal Vermont Congregations!

(How to apply: Just ask, and you shall receive.)

Did you know that the Racial Reconciliation/Racial Healing Team of the Diocese of Vermont has funds to support congregations in exploring racial justice issues within their parish and their communities? The grants can be used to cover the expenses of one or two speakers per congregation ($100 for each speaker) who can share their first-person experience as a person of color in Vermont.

So far, only one congregation has applied for these funds. However, the Racial Reconciliation/Racial Healing Team is eager to get conversations going in congregations throughout the Diocese. Congregations may access these funds simply by sending a proposal to the Rev. Beth Ann Maier at kidmd@hotmail.com. The proposal should include the name of the guest speaker, the date of the speaking engagement, and a brief description of the event or service.
