Accessing, Understanding, and Requesting Updates to the Diocesan Calendar
The diocesan calendar can be accessed in two ways on the diovermont website. As shown in the images below, you can find it on the homepage where it provides a vertical listing of the upcoming events (see Figure 1). Also, you can find it in the main menu under Communications > Diocesan Calendar, where it appears in a larger, full-page format (see Figure 2). Either way you view it, the calendar is a powerful tool that can provide event details, maps, and more. Best of all, it’s color coded, so that you can tell at a glance which of the calendar entries are part of the Bishop’s visitation schedule and which are part of our general events calendar.
In this example, I know that Bishop will be visiting Immanuel Episcopal Church in Bellows Falls on June 26 because the text is highlighted orange.
Additionally, clicking on an event will reveal any available information, such as a the event address and other details (see Figure 3). You also have the option of using the “copy to my calendar” feature to create an event notification on your personal calendar.
