How to use these training resources: The Racial Reconciliation Team (RRT) originally developed these training resources for use in a series of clergy training days. At these “Clergy Day” events, held in 2017 and 2018, active clergy were encouraged to adapt the training materials for their congregations and to integrate them into adult forums locally. However, this education effort is not restricted to clergy alone. Lay leaders are also invited to adapt these training materials for their congregations, using the Draft Framework for Anti-Racism and Racial Reconciliation Training in the Episcopal Church as a rubric for ensuring that that the resulting training meets the learning objectives of the wider Episcopal Church. Members of the RRT are available to consult with congregations on tailoring a Racial Healing training program best suited for them.
