Minutes of the previous meeting and Treasure’s report were approved with thanksgiving. A draft operating budget for 2020, that is very healthy and mission oriented, was presented for initial reading. The Alleluiafund had approximately half of the desired $40,000 raised. On September 14, the Alleluia! Open Golf Tournament is scheduled. A report was given regarding the Transition Committee and its work on transition for our Bishops, the Bishop’s House progress, and the forthcoming Consecration of Bishop-elect Shannon MacVean-Brown. All is timely and on track. Several opportunities for continued growth and revelation via the Racial Reconciliation Commission were presented for the Diocesan family. The Executive Director search for Rock Point is underway with numerous candidates applying. The Rock Point Camp this year has shown a sizable and wonderful increase in participation and interest. The Vermont Ecumenical Council scheduled a breakfast with The Bishop Elect for August 15, 2019.
