HANOVER, NH – The ACLU of New Hampshire and Dartmouth College will be hosting a screening and discussion of Man On Fire, a film about Charles Moore, a man who self-immolated to protest racism in Grand Saline, TX in 2014. The film puts the town’s dark past in the spotlight and untangles the pieces of Moore’s protest and questions concerning racism in Grand Saline today. The discussion after the film will include the Rev. Eric Jackson of the NAACP; Daniel Pontoh, a community organizer with ACLU of NH; and Professor James Chase Sanchez, the producer of the film. Sanchez is a member of Christ Church in Bethel, VT. This event will take place on October 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Dartmouth College. Get full details on Facebook.
