Stone Church Center Presents…

To follow are a few upcoming events during December 2019 sponsored by our friends at Stone Church Center:

Rushad Eggleston, cello, vocals, and tomfoolery
7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec 6
The Chapel, Bellows Falls, VT

Eugene Friesen says, “Rushad Eggleston is a vibrantly creative original solo artist who uses cello, language and fun to mesmerize”. Rushad Eggleston plays fluffy rainbow unicorn metal from a magic green dimension whose mystic tongues growl the delapitude of the future across speedy spectrums of the wildest astral cello landscapes with oceans of glee, skies full of bats and forests full of strange melody monsters: does it even exist? Rusharguanox is a fierce maverick of nonsense magic and potatoes. Tickets

Down in Yon Forest
Elizabeth Rogers and Eugene Friesen
7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, Greenfield, MA

This CD-release concert features Vermont-based singer/songwriter Elizabeth Rogers and cellist Eugene Friesen. The duo brings their soulful collaboration to a repertoire of Celtic-infused holiday songs and instrumentals from their new recording “Down in Yon Forest.” The combination of Rogers’ voice – aptly described as “pure silver” – and Friesen’s innovative cello creates music that is at once mesmerizing and heart-opening. PLEASE NOTE: This concert is in Greenfield, MA at The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew, 8 Church St. on the corner of Church and Federal streets. There is parking behind the church off Church St. Tickets
