Purpose & Agenda
As you may know, the Electing Convention does not contain committee reports or other business that is typically covered in Annual Convention. The purpose of the Electing Convention is to elect the 11th Bishop of The Episcopal Church in Vermont, and the agenda has been designed to achieve this purpose. If you have not already done so, please view and print the agenda here:
Rules of Order
The special Convention (“Convention”) of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont (“Diocese”) adopts the following rules of order for the nomination and election of the eleventh Bishop Diocesan of the Diocese on May 18, 2019, and for any adjourned meeting of that Convention.
Sample Ballot
The procedure for the election of the 11th Bishop of The Episcopal Church in Vermont is introduced in the Rules of Order and will be further explained at the Electing Convention. A sample ballot is provided here to familiarize you with the ballot as described in the Rules of Order.
