The 2018 General Convention authorized the trial use of expansive language versions of Eucharistic Prayers A, B and D. Our own Mark Howe at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Burlington has taken that invitation to heart and crafted the following liturgies. Please inform your congregation that these are authorized trial liturgies, and invite their feedback.

Letter of Transfer
It is customary in the Episcopal Church that when you move from one parish to another, you so do by Letter of Transfer. This can be accomplished by the Parish Secretary requesting a Letter of Transfer from your former parish. Download a Letter of Transfer form.

Please find below instructions for filling out the Parochial Report, a Parochial Report Fillable form and workbooks for completing page 2 and page 3 of the Parochial Report. Note that the deadline for online filing was March 1, but you may still file online https://reports.dfms.org/ until May 1. In addition to filing online, the diocesan office needs a signed copy of the report emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to: 5 Rock Point Road, Burlington, VT 05408.

Quitclaim Deeds for SPG and Glebe Lands
All transactions involving real property owned by the Trustees of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont are not only subject to requirements that pertain within the Diocese, but also adhere to the Canons (laws) of The Episcopal Church of the United States. Having historical antecedents that pre-date the Revolutionary War, certain properties in the State of Vermont retain a lease obligation presently owned by the Trustees. To obtain a Quitclaim Deed for property for which there is a lease obligation owned by the Trustees of the Diocese of Vermont, procedures outlined on this page must be followed.

Compensation Schedule for Supply Clergy:
In September 2018, Diocesan Council reviewed clergy supply rates in other Province I dioceses and then voted to increase the supply rates for the Diocese of Vermont, effective January 1, 2019. The rates for 2019 are as follows:
- $150 for one service, plus mileage and out-of-pocket expenses
- $250 for two services plus mileage and out-of-pocket expenses
- $0.58 a mile for all business miles driven (2019 Current IRS Rate)
