Several members of the Diocese of Vermont’s deputation to the upcoming General Convention have been named to legislative committees. Legislative committees work before and during convention to review resolutions, hold public hearings, and recommend action on resolution’s submitted to convention.
Deputies appointed to committees are:
Tom Little, Vice Chair, House of Deputies Rules of Order
Anne Brown, Social Justice and International Policy
The Rev. Stan Baker, Chair, Prayerbook, Liturgy and Music
The Rev. Lisa Ransom, Environmental Stewardship & Care of Creation
The Rev. Lee Crawford, Chair, World Mission
In the House of Bishops, Bishop Shannon will serve on the legislative committee on Social Justice and United States Policy.
