The 2026 Diocesan Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont will be held in three parts: the Pre-Convention Meeting on October 29, the Program Day at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul on November 7, and the Business Meeting on Zoom on the morning of November 14.
Nominations Open
Nominations for positions to be elected at the 2026 Diocesan Convention are now open and may be submitted through JotForm. The deadline for submission is October 23.
Elections will take place for the following bodies:
- Brookhaven Learning and Treatment Center Board of Trustees
- Commission on Finance
- General Convention Clergy Deputy #4
- General Convention Alternate Deputies
- Rock Point School Trustees
- Standing Committee
- Trustees of the Diocese
- Provincial Synod Delegate
- Provincial Synod Alternate Delegate

Reports to Convention
Annual Reports to the Convention are due September 18.
These reports make up the Pre-Convention Journal and come from a variety of diocesan bodies, leaders, and institutions. They are a vital part of our governance structure and ensure that clergy and delegates are up to date on what has happened around the Diocese in the last year.
A list of expected reports is available online and those responsible for a report have already been notified directly by email. If you believe you may be responsible for a report and have not been notified, please contact Sophie Kitch-Peck.
Reports are due to Sophie Kitch-Peck by September 18.
