Diocesan Convention 2024

The 2024 Diocesan Convention for the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont was held in three parts:

  • The Pre-Convention Hearing took place on November 7 at 6 p.m. on Zoom. Watch a recording on YouTube.
  • The in-person programming of the convention took place on November 9 at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Burlington. Watch a recording on YouTube.
  • The Rev. Canon Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas delivered the keynote address, “Being the Church When Our Very Humanity is at Stake.” Watch the keynote.
  • Bishop Shannon preached and presided at the Eucharist. Watch her sermon.
  • Our Communion Bread Bake Off was held during lunch at the in-person program. Download the winning recipe.
  • The business session of Diocesan Convention, including the bishop’s address, took place on November 14 on Zoom beginning at 6 p.m. Watch a recording on YouTube.
