Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT – All are invited to the Vermont Ecumenical Council‘s annual observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on Sunday, January 16 at 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at Faith United Methodist Church, 899 Dorset St, South Burlington, VT. The Rev. Jill Colley Robinson, district superintendent, Vermont district, New England Conference United Methodist Church, will be preaching.
The worldwide observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is sponsored annually by the Graymoor Ecumenical and Interreligious Institute between the feasts of the Confession of St. Peter and the Conversion of St. Paul (Jan. 18-25). This year’s theme from Acts 28:2 is: “They showed us unusual kindness.” A light ecumenical supper will follow the service. All are welcome.
