The Commission on Finance oversees and guides all financial matters pertaining to the diocese. This includes developing the diocesan budget, reviewing applications for loans and grants, and providing financial guidance to diocesan organizations as requested. While financial expertise is helpful, it is not necessary as unique insights can be particularly helpful.
While the Commission on Finance reports directly to Bishop Shannon, it works closely with Executive Council. The Commission on Finance additionally oversees and supports congregations with the submission of the annual parochial reports and audits.
