Province 1 activities are governed by the Provincial Synod. The Synod is led by elected lay and clergy representatives from all seven New England dioceses (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Western Massachusetts).
While you must be in good standing to run for election, governance experience is not required. Delegates to the Synod allows us to strengthen our relationships province wide, and bring new programs and resources to the Diocese of Vermont.
