From May 12 to 16, members of the diocese will make a pilgrimage to Alabama and Georgia to explore civil rights history and the work of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI).
This five-day journey will include visits to:
- Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration in Montgomery
- National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery
- Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma
- National Center for Civil & Human Rights in Atlanta
Cost for the pilgrimage is $1,300 for double-occupancy rooms and $1,600 for single-occupancy rooms. The cost covers airfare, ground transportation, hotel and meals. Scholarships are available based on need. Watch future editions of The Mountain for a registration link.
