The Bishop Booth Conference Center Welcomes You

4/12/2016

bishopboothVisitors to the Bishop Booth Conference Center seem to uniformly share an appreciation for the beauty of the Rock Point site, and a tranquility that fosters reflection and the capacity to slow down the pace and truly listen to others. That’s not surprising; but what may be news is the incredible range of organizations that spend time at Bishop Booth, either for a day meeting or an overnight visit. A broad sampling of our visiting organizations include the spiritual retreats and meetings of faith communities, personal growth groups,  many entities within our local colleges and university, secondary and primary schools, human service agencies, the State of Vermont, and a handful of profit sector organizations.  Bishop Booth is also the host of the annual Rock Point Summer Camp, as well as many family reunions, weddings, and memorial services.  Most visitor activity at Bishop Booth occurs between Friday morning and early Sunday afternoon, which means that there is frequently ample space on other days of the week.  If you know of a group looking for a meeting or retreat venue, please suggest Bishop Booth.

Lodging rooms are available on Friday and Saturday nights, April 29 and 30, for a very attractive rate of $40 per room, regardless of the number of guests occupying the room. Why rush home when the Rock Point trails beckon to be explored and the lake views savored on our 130 acre oasis?  To make a reservation, call 802-658-6233, or e-mail: bishopbooth@dioceseofvermont.org.
